Jot it Down Tuesday/Pinterest

Pinterest is like a peep hole into the lives of your friends and/or total strangers.

You can learn so much about your their personalities, tastes in clothing, favorite foods, hobbies and dreams. You may take a peek at their virtual book shelves, read quotes from celebrities they admire, and acquire a list of movies that they enjoy watching again and again. Sometimes I feel like a sophisticated stalker. Or a thief who steals pins with the push of a button.

Pinterest is a relaxing way to let your mind chill like a bowl of Jell-O. You can literally sit for 15 minutes and lose brain cells, while virtually window shopping, as you eat ice cream in your PJs (or so I hear).

It's also stressful if you have OCD. You'll constantly fight the urge to organize your virtual pin boards, so as not to offend any eyes rifling through your virtual closets. Never mind that your real closet could use an over-haul. Hang on, I think I just pinned something onto the wrong board...

Pinterest is free. The things that you pin are not free if you actually want to own them. Are you prone to charging things on credit cards? If so, I advise against a Pineterest account.

If I owned everything that I actually pinned, I'd go insane.
(Enter: Hoarders.)

If I cooked everything I pinned, my family would be pretty happy. Too bad that is probably never going to happen. It's a nice thought though. Maybe I'll actually make something on there...someday...if I can ever stop pinning things.

Drat!

I just spilled ice cream on my PJs!

If you've never linked up with Heather at the E.O. for her Just Write  free writing challenge, you should. There are no rules. You just...write!

Cheering you on & checking the fuel gauge,
Layla
