Welcome to Part 2 of our exciting day trip to the Wichita Mountains. I could tell you all about it, but I think the photos do a better job, so...
ENJOY!
There you have it! The conclusion of our fun little trip. :) It was sooo hard to only post a "few" photos, as my camera lens kept finding new things to capture on every twist and turn. If you've never visited this gorgeous reserve, you should. There are generous amounts of picnic areas, gorgeous camp grounds, and more sites than you can see in one day, so it's definitely worth multiple visits.
OH!
One more thing:
I fibbed.
I saved the coolest pics for Wordless Wednesday.
They are truly the icing on the cake.
The cat's meow.
The bee's knees.
You'll be sad if you don't come back.
Really, really, really sad.
I don't want to see you sad, so please come back.
I promise to not disappoint.
This time I'm not fibbing.
For realz.
Cheering you on & checking the fuel gauge,
Layla

Absolutely gorgeous! Now I wanna goooooo there!!
ReplyDeleteYou must! The whole summer beckons. :)
DeleteOh how you make me wish for dream camera...and lots of time to spend using it! Wonderful photography, can't wait to see tomorrow's post!!
ReplyDeleteAmy, thank you for sharing your excitement! I have found that I take so many more pictures now, because I have a smart phone. Several of the above pics were chosen from my phone, so that alone has been a VERY handy way to capture life in ways I never did in the past. I've found that I take pictures of more ordinary things that way, and, strangely, those have morphed into a beautiful timeline of life. Before, I was only taking pics of special occasions. Now...everything. Let me encourage you by saying that you do NOT need an expensive camera to take pics. We bought ours, refurbished, for $90. It's a simple point & shoot, but does pretty good for the price. :) One more suggestion is to use an app, or program, to edit/enhance your photos. That's not necessary, of course, but it does make them pop. Anyhoo, thanks again for stopping by!
DeleteThose are smart phone photos? My iPhone camera doesn't take that good of pics.
ReplyDeleteI would be really sad if I couldn't come back. Luckily I have the freedom to choose. I choose to come bacK!
Yes, Brownie, many of those photos were taken with my iPhone. :) I'm glad you choose to come back!
