Today was chaos with a side of hurricane.
We know that warm days are going to be far and few, so we had to seize the day. It was Skyler's turn for photos. Taking a teen's photos, with two siblings in tow, no help, no money for "fun" snacks (pay day is tomorrow), 35 MPH winds, high sun, and said teen developing a severe headache, is like teaching a cat how to whistle, while neatly painting it's claws hot pink, after you gave it a bath. Oh, and the museum that we were going to walk through for school today: CLOSED.
Nice.
*sigh*
But, hey, I still think we got some great pics.
(These will look better after I auto-correct them. Please forgive the wash-out.)
As I jot down my grumpies, I must also jot down my happies.
We found a FREE museum that was open.
We found our way to a park that was out of the wind.
I captured these last shots there...
...right before the big guy's head was about to explode. Skyler fakes a better headache smile than I do, for sure!
Not gonna check my grammar today. Just jotting it down.
I hope you'll still come back tomorrow.
I'll take a Happy Pill...
I promise.
Cheering you on & checking the fuel gauge,
Layla

We've gotta get our grumpies out. you did it splendidly :)
ReplyDeleteAnd a teen with a guitar = LOVE
Oh, what an honor for you to stop by! I so LOVE this free writing thing. :) Thank you for the kind encouragement.
ReplyDeleteYes, teen boys with guitars, well...they go quite a ways back into my family line.
It's a good thing he has short hair. 35 mile an hour winds would have been whipping my girls' hair everywhere. Not nice for pictures.
ReplyDeleteGreat pictures. I love the one in the tall grass.
Yeah, you can get away with a LOT more with boys! However, they are not into posing like girls are.
ReplyDelete"Don't you have enough pics yet???" LOL
Thanks. :) I like that one too.
Very handsome young man you have on your hands! Better lock the door from all the screaming girlies! I love how you sad your grumpies, might have to borrow that from you!
ReplyDeleteI think he's pretty handsome too. ;) Thanks!
ReplyDeleteYes, you must balance the grumpies with happies. :) Feel free to borrow away!
